Thinking about getting a new desktop computer, what's decent?
Edited on Mon Jan-09-06 01:52 PM by WeRQ4U
I don't need anything spectacular. I'm not a gamer, designer or publisher and, therefore, my requirements are limited. I currently have a Sony VAIO laptop and I use it for the internet, iTunes and the occasional Word document.

I would like a flat monitor simply because it saves space. Inexpensive is good. I hate Gateway. What do you think?

1. I've had good luck with Dell
and if you dont need the 'newest and fastest' machine, you can get a decent price. They also have nice package deals that include a printer.

4. I'm an IT guy and trust me
You want an abacus. They're way more stable than a desktop.
