Smooth/light jazz makes me ill
Sorry, it does. It seems to bear little resemblance to the actual article. There is so much wonderful, powerful, wild, beautiful jazz to listen to. If you want mellow, drag out some cool school era Miles or Ella or Carmen McRae, or Sassy. Please!

and there was about 10% of the stuff that I did like, like Gato Barbieri, Pat Metheny, Bela Fleck, Billie Holiday?!. But I consider those folks as having some bite.

7. It certainly does not deserve to have "jazz" in its name. It's shit.
It is to jazz what Mariah Carey is to music. That is, nothing at all.

It's like saying "I'll have the lowfat margarine-based cheesecake" or "Tofu ribeye".

Anyone who listens to it should have their eardrums punctured and cauterized and then have their hands cut off so that they can't learn sign language.
