Damn those re-runs and preemptions. The network killed "The Practice" moving it all around their schedule and we are paranoid that they're trying to do the same with "Boston Legal."

My husband is overjoyed at this news! He's smiling from ear to ear.

BTW I was reading a response you made in a Lounge thread...you were born in 1939;yes? My mother was born in 1934 and dad in 33. I am 32--they are both gone now. Had me very late. That generation was so hardworking...they sure did give me a good life. Just wanted to share.....

I was born on 05/31/39 and my husband on 06/23/34. We are both active seniors now, after more than fifty years of working in a variety of business activities. We're lucky to be healthy and relatively secure financially -- not wealthy, but doing OK -- as a result of my husband's diligence with investments and other finances. We are pretty frugal with our purchases. Our big extravagance is travel, I guess. Recently, we have joined the Hilton Grand Vacation Club, a timeshare organization, and we are thoroughly enjoying it!

I have two children, ages 37 and 36, born 14 months apart. I had a stillborn child prior to that, a baby girl, on 11/30/60, buried in Hartsdale, New York. My husband's children are older, in their 40s, because he had them quite young. (First child was born nine months and eleven days after his marriage to his first wife, now deceased.)

Sorry you have lost your parents. Was it health related or accidental??? My father died in 1988 age 76, my mother followed in 1991 at age 71. Regrettably, they did not take very good care of themselves physically. I was already in my forties, but as an only child, it hit me pretty hard.

Maybe you saw the family photo I'm posting around -- just found it in a stack of photos in a box somewhere. Our little family, with lots of verve, in the 1940s.

Michael J Fox! I saw the previews (not watching though since I missed the beginning) and he looks great! I've always loved him since "Back to the Future" days. That's when I became a fan.
