Good Wednesday Morning, Everyone!
:donut::hi:
How are you today? I hope you had a good nights sleep and are ready to get this day started! We're at the mid point of the week now, so once we get through today, we'll be closer to the weekend! :bounce:

I am off work today (:woohoo:) but I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I know ONE thing is try to get this apartment cleaned up. It's interesting that when one has a day off, one still works, be it yard work, house cleaning or trying to whittle down on the huge "Honey-Do" list you've been trying to avoid.

1. Good morning Clint.
:hi:

Just stumbled through into afternoon here.

I'm glad that you've got a day-off - you certainly deserve it. Looks like you had an equally well-deserved lie-in as well.

Music here is Die Schoepfung (The Creation) by F.J. Haydn - just coming to a close now only another 10 minutes at the most.

I hope you're having a good time there at work! I woke up at 5 am like usual, but I felt like I needed a little more rest.

You and your 20 minute songs, Man.

Which is all my own fault.

The song isn't 20 minutes, it's somewhat closer to 2 hours.

Have you seen swimboy's thread about his wonderful news?

42. It's a oratorio
Which is probably best described as being like an opera, but without actual acting and technically involves a religious subject (though many call things like Theodora and Semele by Handel oratorii) - hence the length. If one were to listen to it in a concert there would certainly be an interval during it.

47. Nothing much really.
I stayed up late last night, first chatting to folk on M.S.N. then (believe it or not) reading 'The da Vinci Code' (goodness what utter rubbish it is too). Then actually dragged my lazy arse out of bed late this morning, and managed to forget my lunch - thus I'm eating shop-bought rubbish, but even worse it had the new coffee so I've had to drink the instant which the company provides :(

Nothing at all in the wider spectrum, but just irks me a bit.

I've forgotten my lunch a few times too, but since I don't eat fast food, I have to go spend $10 for a decent lunch. x( You're right about the company coffee. *YUCK* What I make at home is SO much better. I feel for ya, Dude.

56. I don't eat fast food normally
I utterly despise it. I had a shop-bought sandwich - rather than salad and home-made soup.

Plus it's not even real coffee, it's "instant coffee" - which also means I can't drink it as strong, which means less effect from the caffeine.

But a  from Clint makes things so much better.

I wanted to assure you it was Bombay. Methelated Spirits sound like they bring evil, the unpleasant sort.

Work is being crazy today so I am not getting to play as I want :evilfrown: I will be running around like mad until I get home at 9:45 tonight.

Tomorrow may be a better day.

See you! :loveya:

It's a fine morning! I got up and swam a mile at the gym and when I got back home the morning paper had come on time! Today will be a little crazy. I had to go to an evening meeting last night and I have to conduct one this evening before choir practice. I may not get any supper!

These meetings can be heated but I hope there will not be too much schmarrn! (See, I have learned a word from you.)

good to see you today. I am with you and cleaning. But you know that already. This weekend I will be going to my mom, so there is another excuse not to do my household. Beside, I live by myself and the only person who has to deal with this more or less mess is me. And if it gets too messy even for me - I clean up :)

Work is going alright today. A lot of new books waiting to get processed. And some other things. We had a small meeting within our department (5 ladies) and talked about what is going on in the library or in the house alltogether. Now that my lunchbreak is over I have to get back on track and continue to work. Less in the mood to work this afternoon than I was in the morning. I guess all the blood went to my stomach and isn't avaiable for my brain at the moment :)

I had my bout with being domestic yesterday. Went to a friends house after we finished at the park and his neighbor was out mowing the grass on their riding lawnmower. The neighbor asked if I wanted to try it out, and when I told him I've never cut grass in my life, he flipped out and nearly gave himself a stroke. LOL. Ahh.. Good times :)

Glad to hear that you got some extra bed-time. Feels refreshing doesn't it? If you get done cleaning your apartment, you're more than welcome to come over here and start in on my place. Not too messy, just needs a quick dusting and vacuuming.
I'm balancing work and dealing with my brother today, and trust me, I'd rather be working. I rarely hear from him, only when he needs my help. Oh well . . . guess that's what families are for, huh?
Enjoy your day and don't forget to do something fun, something just for yourself.

Whew! Just got some of the stuff done. Then the phone rang -- this is the 3rd such call. Some repug rep wants harleydad to represent FL (as a repug) or some such nonsense. I keep telling them he's not interested, we won't help repugs, etc., and they STILL call back! :wtf: They won't even tell my why they're interested in him! I mean, he's a quiet sort of guy who never makes waves, etc. Now I'm getting nervous.
