For the Trekkers here!
A friend just sent me the "blooper reels" from the original Star Trek show.

I nearly peed my pants laughing.

Like the guy shoveling coal into the engines, or "You're in good hands, with tribbles."

1. I have a blooper tape, but haven't watched it in awhile.
I remember those. I also remember the cast doing the bunny hop down the corridor. :)

4. I remember that! LOL!
 I wish I would've taped that but I think I saw it in the Dark Ages before I had a VCR.

5. I saw it at a Star Trek Convention.
Yes, I've been to more than one Star Trek Convention. There was also a part where the crew used their small square phasers (there's probably a more technical term like "Class 2") and pretended to shave with them. :) They did look a lot like small electric razors.

Also, there was a scene in that mine where Nurse Chapel discovered her old lover Roger had become an android: Gene Roddenberry kept wandering by, yelling, "Majel! Majel!" (Majel Barrett was his wife as well as the actress who played Nurse Chapel, Lwaxana Troi and always, always always the voice of the ship's computer.) I am not sure why this was funny, but it was. I think at one point that huge android wandered by. He was the same actor who played "Lurch" in the original Addams Family and his makeup was very effective and scary.

6. But she had a problem with substance abuse.
Originally, she was supposed to play a more important role in the series, maybe even an intense love interest for the captain, but she kept showing up wasted and they had to reduce her role.
