Ramsey is like the most awesome person here at DU

(well her along with JimmyJazz and Joan_Alpern and RBNYC and GOPisEVIL, wait I'm getting distracted with my post)

I told her no Xmas present exchange and she still had a present for me. It was a T-Shirt that says "Kick Rick Out in 2006" and the DVD "Inside Led Zeppelin 1968-1980" What a sweetie!!

And she made a great quiche for lunch (I brought the sparkly stuff for our mimosas!)

2. She's going to know in a few weeks when the party will be

Because we're hoping you're coming up for it!! I figured you can stay with me since she'll probably have family in town but we'll get a hotel at the Club Quarters for the party so we don't have to drive home. I know a bunch of other DUers will probably be coming in for the event!

11. Okay

Ummm... I like their first album. Page played a Telecaster, so that is a good thing. John Paul Jones was by far one of the best musicians to come from that era.

And, yeah that's Bill Graham. He was one of the few promoters to really dig the bands back then and give them a lot of room to play. It was a sad day when he was killed in the copter crash.

12. Graham also had a beef for awhile with the band

Because of an Oakland concert that went crazy and Bonham being generally a drunken out-of-control crazed man. I think at one time there was a lawsuit by the Graham people for what happened at that concert
