Just keep replying to threads and you'll be able to post your own thread very soon. Can't tell you what the exact number is, but I suspect you can meet the required number of posts within about 5 minutes. (That may have been a hint.)

8. Thanks for the answers.

Boy do I feel stupid about the thread-starting thing. When I signed on and it said I couldn't start a thread I decided just to come up with a number of posts and then forget about it til I reached that number. I asked myself, if I had a website how many posts would I want someone to have before I let them start a thread...I figured a hundred was a good #, so I never even tried to start one til I got past 100 posts, Now I see people saying what's wrong, I've posted 3 times and I can't start a thread?
