Wow, I just baked the two most perfect loaves of pumpkin bread
this world has ever seen. Had to share with someone...well..because everyone's asleep here. I don't even like pumpkin bread, but man they are pretty.

How well do pumpkin bread and venison go together? Though I'm sure pumpking bread and turkey go like BITCHIN' together! Wish I were there to smell and share and eat them. Yum!! I love pumpkin bread.

14. Sure..it's without nuts..
2/3 cup shortening (or butter/margarine) 2 2/3 cup sugar 4 eggs 1 lb pumpkin 2/3 cup water 3 1/2 cup flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 2 tsp baking soda 1 1/2 tsp salt 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp cloves Cream sugar and shortening together. Add eggs, pumpkin, and water. Stir. Add the dry ingredients and spices. Pour into two greased loaf pans and bake in a preheated 350 oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Mine actually took 1 hour and 25 minutes. :)
