I was distracted at work and was also happen to be listening to one of the BBC versions of Communications Breakdown so I can't believe I goofed like that. Robert Plant would be so ashamed of me right now

I mean, I'm the gal that not only knows where every song is located on each LZ album I can usually tell you what songs comes before it and after it (and on which side of the vinyl it's located on).

That was such a boffo mistake - to the Led Zeppelin Gods I hang my head in shame

4. Well you know, that could be considered a good thing

I'd take a :spank: from the Golden God anytime. Hell for that matter "Stairway to Heaven" opens the 4th album, "Kashmir" opens Physical Graffiti and my favorite "Ramble On" opens II.

Make it hurt Robert :spank: make it HURT!!!

6. ummmm.....I might have a Cassette of them
But then again I have some shockingly strange stuff on cassette like Color Me Badd and Vanilla Ice.

It was the 80s-90s and I was not sober for much of it :eyes:

12. Ew. What a low blow.
I saw them open for somebody back in the early 90s-- it may have even been My Bloody Valentine.

And boy did they SUCK.

Overrated college-boy hipster indy-rock by morans who seem to think you can make a career out of aping the "White Light/White Heat" album. Useless is too good for them.

13. (high five) Yo La SHITgo is more like it!
Terrible fuckin' band. LEd Zeppelin, as tired as they are, at least don't suck as wildly as You La Tengo.

9. yeah, yeah, whatEVER
I saw Led Zep on their first tour.

They weren't that good, really.

(Don't you get tired of the same songs after, like, 35 years or so?)

Led Zeppelin is like a mood for me. When I'm in a funk about whatever is bringing me down I know that a few Zeppelin songs will cure me better than any drug (prescribed or not). Led Zeppelin isn't good music for me, it's a passion that is so hard to explain in words but I would be very unhappy if I lived in a world without their music!!

Anyhow I have about 750 albums, cassettes & cds so trust me, I listen to a variety of stuff! But I will say this - everyday I must have my music whether it's quietly listening to my MP3 player while working, driving my car or sitting at my computer at home (My Sonic Stage which I uploaded all my CDs is constantly playing even when I'm not at home but I do turn off the speakers). Oh and since everyday I'm listening to music you can be assured there will be something Zeppelin played!

People have question why I have ELO higher on my favorites list than the Beatles but to me, my choices are much more than who is the most talented (although for me that would still be Zeppelin) or who has brought the most to the table when it comes to music (and again, that would be Zeppelin in my book). But just the mood of what that music does to me when I listen to it and how that music has influenced my life. It just happens to be ELO ranked higher!
