Poll question: Favorite kind o' mustard
A friend sometimes calls me "mustard freak" because I've been known to have five different kinds in the fridge. :7

For the record, my pick is hot 'n' sweet. But it varies, depending on what it's going on.

10. It's okay, Nothing special. Just the name is cool. IMHO.
I get experimental with mustards, too, from time to time, and wind up with a fridge full of stuff, like Clover Honey Dijon with Cabernet, or some such mixture. Some are pretty good--usually the spicy, small vendor brands. Most aren't any better than plain old stone ground brown mustard.

12. Mustard should be considered a weapon of mass destruction
along with mayonnaise. :puke:

One thing this redefinition would accomplish would be to retroactively endow Iraq with WMD, thereby justifying Bush**'s Operation Charlie Foxtrot. :sarcasm:

16. All the best mustard seems to come from the Midwest.
If everything else is equal, I'll choose one from the Midwest over one from anywhere else.

They also make a brand called Kosciusco (I know there's supposed to be a Z in there somewhere, but can't remember where it goes), that's my favorite of their varieties.

22. You are correct. I can get Plochman's here in Texas.
Although, I must admit to not purchasing it last time out. The time before that, however, I bought a big ol' bottle of Plochman's.

17. Best mustard on the planet-

Moutarde de Meaux Pommery Mustard is a grainy French mustard has been served at the tables of French kings since 1632. The secret recipe belonged to the religious order of Meaux and was handed down to the Pommery family in 1760. The recipe continues to be a closely guarded secret. One taste and you'll understand why! Made from all natural ingredients, it has an astounding flavor and will bring any dish calling for mustard to life! Beautifully packaged in a stone crock. Imported from France.

29. We used that about 15 years ago; it is good (and really grainy).
However, three kids later, that kind of food purchase is a thing of the past...
