I had the "date" of a lifetime last night

I'm really old so I've had quite a few dates but last night was the best one ever. A beautiful red-haired woman of my acquaintance called me last night and asked if I'd like to go to Sears and look at tools. I jumped at the chance.

We looked at wrenches and screwdrivers and power tools and everything else in the tool department. We discussed a lot of them and the chances they'd be on sale before Christmas. We even bought some matching sets. By closing time I was totally exhausted.

If she wasn't twenty years younger than I am, I think I would have proposed right there in the parking lot. It was wonderful. We're making plans for a Home Depot date. I can hardly wait.

How boring! Maybe I'll invite her to the Home Depot next time. :D
