Since it's been a while, new pics of Quinn and Althea

both in their favorite lounging spots. Althea atop her favorite blanket on top of a stack of boxes, and Quinn on the right hand "pillar" on my desk.

And, a suggestion to all you photographers who use an external flash out there. . . get yourself an Omnibounce diffuser for your flash, very much worth the $15 or so.

only with the dry catfood bag that we pull in from the garage.

I love the names of your cats, too. Ours are named Spark and Flame.

5. For a budget flash, I can highly recommend the

Electronic Flash EF 500 DG ST

Works great, is compatible with all the metering functions (on Nikon or Canon, no problem). I only paid about $129 for it from www.sigma4less.com last year.

and yes, my current one pays me, but it's an insult to paychecks what the pay me.

after a few months of a real job, i'll be dropping some money on my first 'pro' level gear.

Moose is an outdoor kitty, but he comes in at night since winter began. But it's still bloody cold during the day. Hmm.
