Mod appreciation thread
Just a very simple thread on a Sunday night to offer my appreciation for the hard work of the DU moderators. I know very well how thankless a task it can be, AND how much your work means to this community!!!

2. I'll give my kudos too. and a question.
I've been with DU for A WHILE. Since 2002 some time. ANyway, never volunteered to be a MOD. How much work is it? How long commitment? what kind of length of time?

so curious.

25. Hooray for the mods!
They spend countless hours weeding out trolls, patrolling the lounge for sex and bodily function threads, dealing with squabbles, and various other issues--all of which detract from their hours in the mod hot tub. On top of it all, they do this for free, out of the goodness of their hearts. So here's to the mods!
