Well I called a talk radio show for the first time today.
It was the Ellis Henican show on Sirius Talk Left. He was talking about the wingnut pharmacists who are suing Walgreen's for sacking their asses for not filling birth control prescriptions.

What I basically said (as I've posted here) is that I was fine with the pharmacists not filling the prescriptions, as long as Walgreen's was allowed to fire them for not doing their jobs.

1. Walgreen's even offered to transfer them to other stores.
It just figures that Pat Robertson is behind this.

Congratulations on being on the radio!

2. Where they can refuse to fill scrips for other people?
Yeah, that's a logical solution. :eyes:

4. Walgreen's fired them because they were not complying with IL law.
They could have been transferred to Missouri (just across the border from their current locations).

In Missouri you can get away with this bullshit, and that's a shame.

So it's "We'll send you someplace where it's legal to be an asspole."

3. Yeah, this was a topic I knew a fair amount about, we were driving to a
restaurant and I heard this, and had to chime in. I hadn't heard of this guy, so I think I was a bit less nervous for it.

Basically, you call, when the phone answers you hear a bit of the show you just heard on time delay. During commercial break screener asked what I was calling to talk about and I told them my specific take.

I was the second caller, had my radio turned down. I went on a bit with my point and after my main point was done (which he agreed with) he cut me off to get to the next caller, but it was seamless listening to it, you wouldn't know he did that.

My voice (on radio, on delay) sounded a bit weird to me, LOL.
