My tooth cracked and it hurts when I eat
But I am not working now and I have no medical or dental insurance. Under the Bush health care plan, I will avoid chewing until I can pull myself up by my bootstraps and establish a health savings account.

2. I've had cracked front teeth since being kicked there in 3rd grade.
All I did was bend down to pick up a pencil I'd dropped. :(

The miscreant got away with it too.

3. Sorry about the tooth.
I know how annoying it is. I have one in a similar state. Mine was "repaired" by an idiot dentist who made it worse. I'm in the process of finding a new dentist to undo the damage caused by the idiot but at least I know that I have insurance to pay for part of the cost.

Yep, health savings accounts. That's the trick. Take ownership of your own medical and dental costs.

4. Do you have a dental school in your area?
Or a state public health facility? They do repairs for nothing. Dental schools charge 1/3 the cost.

5. 80 miles to the nearest dental school
I'll have to see how much it bothers me.

6. That's not good. I have insurance and since it does not
cover everything, I still have to pay an ungodly amount.
