New FOX "reality" show.

Personally, I think it's stupid.

But what do I know, most FOX shows are (except their cartoons, except King of the Hill from that list...)

They used to run the same thing on USA before they finally cancelled it. And, I agree about the cartoons...

but I think the Foreigner Belt could stand up to the quadlaser

It's been one of my favorites. Until the past season. It wasn't so good this year.

it's too right wing for my taste and it doesn't come off as a parody of right-wing ideology.

One episode I truly hate is where Luianne is introduced to voting. Hank and Peggy are die-hard Bush lickers (er, Bush supporters) and Luianne immediately takes to the communist party and everybody gets upset until Luianne sees the error of her ways when Hank points out how wrong commies are and how great Bush is and she decides to vote for Bush in the end. :eyes: This show is no parody of the right-wingers in any sort.

But that's not to say they hadn't any good episodes. I just don't recall the good plots right now... :-(

Edit: I just remembered one! The Randy Travis episode where Peggy makes the apple brown betties that gets thrown into the dog doo... And Randy, who voiced himself (which was remarkable under the circumstances), kept plagerizing Peggy and Hank. GREAT episode! So KotH isn't totally bad, but it is more of a right winger wing ding...

just a tad bit dumber, I think I lost a few IQ points a while ago watching an ad for one of these horrible shows.

a total waste of time. Programming like this is what's making Americans dumber than ever. What the hell is wrong with people in this country? Of course Fox has a lot to do with this blight, but it's turning Americans into thoughless voyeurs with no intellectual stimulation whatsoever. A pox on Fox.
