5. OMG! I totally forgot about those things!
I haven;'t thought of them for years and years!

Dang, I do miss them now! I wish I had one. And these, I'm sure, are not made at all - I often order from some of the few vendors who still sell the old style candies which are still made but not widely distributed (Mallow bars, for instance), and I've never seen marathon bars listed.

until I just had to spit. I put a 4 inch diameter loogie on the driveway and the spit was completely brown and nasty. It took a month for the stain to come off the pavement.

4. This Dick

I keep missing him. But I have to admit my pie-throwing skills are rusty, at best.

6. The car my dad owned when I was born.

I owned my own for a while, but I had to sell it, as restoring it was beyond my skills and budget.

20. He regrets not selling while we lived in Germany.
Germans offered him big bucks for that car. Enough to have bought a Mercedes and have it shipped. He ended up selling it not too long after we got back to the US. :(

26. Aww, that's a tough one. =(
I always wondered what happened to a number of cars my dad owned: the Impala, the Bel-air and the Corvette.

14. My dad's house on Forby St.

For an only child of divorced parents it was the best getaway spot ever. An ancient swing-set, the greenest thickest lawn, mimosa trees for climbing and the scent of lantana. And that was just outside.

Inside was even better.

28. Same here.
In a gorgeous old neighborhood too. Upstairs was just a loft room, storage and a bath but it was all hardwood floors and walls, with box beds built in. Coincidentally, where the model planes were built...

I wish I could find a photo of the front of the house.

18. Several things...
My sister. She really loved me my whole life...and now she's gone:

I don't have a picture of her as an adult. I'd ask for one, but Mom would make a huge deal about it.

My dad.

Having a good president and a prosperous country...
