1. Really?
Are you just now learning to drive?

I have a friend, she's a hippy chick who has never driven either. I almost aspire to be like her because I HATE driving!!

2. Yeah
I'm almost 25 and have no idea how to drive. I went and got my permit a while back, but just finally got the nerve to schedule lessons.

I am nervous as well . But when I went on my driving lessons , I was told I was a good driver . My best advice to you while driving is to - relax - and then you will be fine :)

17. Hey, nothin' to be embarrassed about.
My own mother is only 20 yrs older than me. It happens.

Age is just a number, afterall. Hey, MY bd's in March, too! When's yours? I'm on the 25th. Aries. I'll be 42, girlfriend.

Yup, Time marches on..... Hopefully, I'm getting wiser as I get older.

I'm 1/3 Irish, that's a big day in our family.

Hey, my kid turns 13 this November. Yikes, I'll officially be the parent of a teenager. How is that possible??!

It's weird.

20. My best buddy never drove until after college
before that, he always lived near the bus or the El, and never had a reason to drive.

I'm going to have to get mine one of these days too.

Don't freak out about it--you'll be fine.

14. Well, unless you take a left, and wind up east of the Rockies
I think I'll be safe:evilgrin: ]

Relax, take it easy, you'll be fine. I'm assuming that you're going out using an automatic transmission first, it's a good one to learn on. But soon you should learn how to shift a manual tranny also, it isn't that hard, and you'll just love it once you get the hang of it.

Good luck and have fun!

:hi:

You'll be fine. Go at your own pace. Luckily, you'll be having a professional teach you. I had my mother.:scared:

If you can, try and do the highway early on a Saturday or Sunday. There's no one on, and you can gradually accustom yourself to more and more traffic.

18. You'll do fine!
I learned to drive a stick shift with a sleeping toddler in the backseat.
I learned pretty darn quick, too, 'cause I didn't want the baby waking up before I had it down pat.

Your OP reminded me of party-line days. There was an old man that was soooo bad at driving, that when he would set out for town, word spread like lightning..."Stay off the road! Leonard's going to town!!!":D

You will do fine. After a while, you will enjoy it. We all bitch about driving, but most of the time driving is not only not haard to do, it's fun.

You are gonna be a great driver!

23. There's a Sig Alert
for Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo and Placer counties. I also understand the governor's mansion has been evacuated and McClellan AFB has been re-activated.

Other than that, all is well.

What day is LK's BD?

Just try to stay relaxed. A lot of people suddenly tense up when they get behind the wheel for the first time.
