Anyone feel like interpreting my dream?
'Cuz it was weird.

Before I begin, I should state that I had this dream after a night of heavy drinking.

But here goes:

I'm in my room, trying to take a nap, when CaliforniaPeggy comes in and starts trying to steal my office chair:

Now, this thing is like my first-born child, so having anyone steal it, even CaliforniaPeggy, is unacceptable. Naturally, as CP exits, pushing my chair down the hall, I follow. I quickly lose sight of my chair, but then run into the cute girl from my business ethics class, who swears to God that she's my wife and that she's been waiting for me to come home to fix the answering machine.

What does it all mean...?

And don't give me any of that Freudian shit, either! :grr:

1. Oh that's an easy one!
It means that you feel guilty about sitting in your computer chair while you were "thinking" (nudge nudge) about the cute girl from your ethics class. The shame is manifested in you losing your chair to a person who you would normally trust. The broken answering machine represents your inability to talk to the cute girl.

6. Nothing Freudian in that. It was just bullshit.
I was just trying to get you to admit to thinking about the cute girl while you were wanking it.

and you want to communicate with this girl but are afraid that things will go too fast and you'll be in over your head.

12. Actually, I should rephrase that.
DU takes away my ability to do the work I need to do, like papers and tests, but is a good place to go to to get help with the work want, but don't need to do, like computer art and creative writing.

California Peggy and the girl from class got you drunk and molested you during the night after you passed out. The dream was your inner manifestation of what was happening. :hangover:

27. It is the manifestation of your guilt over having an office chair in the
first place while hundreds, if not thousands of Duers are posting from folding chairs...kitchen chairs...barstools...the floor...etc. The cute girl was just window dressing to keep you interested enough in the dream to let the guilt sink in. :hi:

30. Oh, I'll take a crack at it.
Each of the characters in our dream represents some part of ourselves.

CP represents the part of your personality that wastes time on DU when you should be asking out the cute girls in your ethics class. (Sorry, CP, you probably just randomly showed up because of something you did that stuck in ZN's cerebral cortex. Probably the time you said "Fuck".)

The broken message machine means that you have anxiety about the fact that you've liked this girl in your ethics class for what seems like ages, but haven't been able to communicate your feelings. You are impatient with this part of yourself, and you are concerned that you will lose your chance. However, you allow yourself to be distracted from your real interests.

The office chair represents the ass that you need to get off of and ask that girl out!

that stand out the most in your dream...Chair, steal, etc. Then try the site again. It does get confussing when so many meanings are thrown at you.
