2. I watched it and you could just go crazy with the cuteness overload.
The way they scampered around, then still, then nutty kitten. Hilarious!

4. It's on Animal Planet now!
It's Puppy Bowl II!!!

It was so cute! It was a hours-long program of puppies playing. There was a stadium-like area with fake people in the stands. There was astro-turf and grid lines and goal posts and the puppies just ran up and down and all over playing. You could hear the roar of the crowd (a canned sound program) when one of them would do something especially funny, but the noises of the puppies were played too, and there was lively music playing. An announcer would come on every so often to announce an especially good "play." The camera would zoom in and out, just like in the Superbowl, with close ups of puppies chomping on toys...or each other.

There was a bird's eye view camera, and there were instant replays (like for the puppy that was chasing his tail). Every so often, the camera would cut to the "Bowl Cam." It was an underwater camera in the puppies water bowl. From a water-bowl's-eye-view, you could see them come up and drink and play with the water (with the sound of the snuffling and smurfing noises they made). Half time was an all-kitten extravaganza.

They had this on during the entire time that the Super Bowl was on! It's amazing how well it held my attention - probably better than the Super Bowl would have! I think they are doing multiple repeats.

8. It was cute
Almost too cute. Was the whole pint of the Puppy Bowl just to see puppies prowncing around ganging up on the poodle?
