What kind of work are you in?
Edited on Sun Nov-30-03 10:13 PM by WillyBrandt
Alright, I'm just plain curious if we're all a bunch of teachers or retired break dancers or what.

So, What Field of Employment Are You In?

I'll start out--Finance/Software Development.

(On Edit: I also serve drinks at Wes's PNAC Salon on the Upper East Side.)

Well, I retired from construction work at any rate.

I was an electrician in Local 3 of the IBEW in New York City, the finest local union in the world, and the most wonderful city on earth.

Now I'm retired and living in Florida (its hard to live on just a pension) where I've signed up with the local Democratic party.

high school math and science teacher who left to join my dad in his construction business. For him, I do project estimating, design and layout, purchasing, and drafting. My husband and I also run our own tiny little contracting business. For him, I do estimating, bookkeeping, and payroll. I also help out in the field occasionally.

I am also a engineering student wannabe.

I work with a bunch of freepers who treat the kids like they are there simply for their amusement and have to take their abuse. HAHA...they don't like me working the second shift because I encourage them to use their right to a grievance...And If they start bullying the kids, I tattle. LOL Anyway, I just love kids and think that every kid deserves the right to have a good education and a chance. I hope I've instilled something in those kids. And hell, at least they have good table manners once they leave if nothing else.
