1. Here's one:

A group of men went deer hunting, and split off in pairs. After sundown, they were all to gather at the campfire. One man came walking in extremely late dragging a large buck. The others asked him what happened to his partner. He said, "Well, about a mile back, Fred had a heart attack and collapsed in the middle of the road. I couldn't carry him and the deer." They said, "You mean you just left him there and brought the deer in?"
"Yeah," said the hunter. "It was a tough call, but I figured nobody was going to steal Fred."
