Buccaneers season is over.
Turn out the lights the party's over. They folded up like a pocket knife. They couldn't even beat a 2 - 9 team that is the only team this year with a rookie starting QB. I hope it's not the start of another 30 year dry spell.

1. And the Jags O line
made it look easy to contain the Bucs "vaunted" defense.

2. Do not despair, as a Giants fan, I know the feeling--after they won their
super bowls they sucked the year after. Happens to a lot of teams--the Pats didn't have their s**t together after winning, and this year they're hot. As long as the pats have Gruden, they'll do fine next year. It's a typical cycle.

4. Some differences
The Pats have not had many injuries and the bulk of the team is under 30.

The Bucs are getting ready to go into rebuilding mode. The Raiders have the same problem.

6. I still think the Bucs will do fine next year--they've looked pretty good
some games. Now it's just a downward spiral for the rest of the season since there's no point in winning anymore.

Dumping Keyshawn was a good move.

8. With Gruden, maybe
But they will have to change some players during the off-season, which I am sure they will do. Most teams with an average age over 30 do not win the Super Bowl.

Which is why the Bucs have a habit of signing players over 30 to 1 year contracts. And Kenyatta Walker has got to go.

10. So, do you think Fassel is going bye-bye in a few weeks?
After yesterday, it's clear they're going 4-12.

17. Fassel should have been gone after the Atlanta game
Would love to see Maurice Carthon get the job, but I think they're going after Conklin.
