Hey lounge!!! Tomorrow's the big day:
PLANTER BOX DAY.

Redwood 4x4's on the corners supporting redwood 2x6's all on a nice bed of sand. I'm going to finish it off with a sealant and a plastic liner, and fill 'er with 2 feet of garden soil and 8 inches of potting soil.

It's going to be the bomb. :bounce:

5. Oh, and by the way,
I'm closer to Humboldt than Mendo, and Trinity's the next county over.

Emerald Triangle yo.

14. Mockery of the differently abled
Will get you nowhere, bro. :eyes:

Just because I have the visual acuity of a Japanese Maple doesn't mean I don't know the difference between the geology and geography sticks.

One in knowing what Mt Shasta IS (composite cone), the other is knowing where it's located (Siskiyou County). :eyes:

7. It's only February here (duh)
But it's been warm and sunny lately. Spring here is a small window that needs to be taken advantage of. Spring is the week between 50 and pouring and 100 and sunny. If not 110 and sunny. :scared:

10. (Gives a mellow, relaxed California chuckle)
Winter here is cool and rainy.

I've been applying for jobs all over the country, and a major factor in where I'd live has to do with severity of the winters. I'm a sissy when it comes to cold weather. When it's below 20, I start not wanting to go outside. If I lived somewhere that was truly cold all winter, the firefighters would have to chop my 800 pound self out of the house in the springtime.

But on the flip side, when's the last time it was 110 where you are???

12. Hnn...
I think it hit 100+ at some point last summer, but that happens on only one or two days a year. However, I'm more of an evening/night person, so I tend to sleep through the hottest parts of the day if I can get away with it. :D

19. I'm *always* up late
I've got a weird internal clock it seems, and it's been that way since I was little. Nothing much going on right now, though.
