Television alert on A & E. 2 new "Horatio Hornblower" movies.

Starring the ultra hunky Ioan Gruffudd.

Tomorrow and Wednesday nights.

Am I the only one who really enjoyed the "Hornblower" shows?

2. reminds me of a gaffe Jimmy Carter made in his 1980 acceptance

speech where he was paying tribute to the late Hubert Humphrey and called him, "Hubert Horatio Hornblower--eh, Humphrey"...poor Jimmy didn't get a break that year.

10. I got hooked on Hornblower

while in the USMC. The base or ship,s library was a great place to hide out from shit duty like picking up other people's ciggy butts.... Most lifers didn't even know these libraries existed..... HA, fooling that system was sooo easy @ times.. Too bad I couldn't find a library in Vietnam, however.
