Municipal workers have shut off our street's water--ask me anything!
From 8:30 this morning until a projected time of 4:30pm.

No water. That means no shower, no toilets, and, worst of all (once the pre-filled kettle is empty), no tea!

Luckily, we can shower at the gym... but boy do I have not having water. It's amazing how often one uses it! It's like when the power goes out and your first instinct is to turn on the TV/radio to find out how widespreat the blackout is.

2. Hey, I think I can see your mom from here...
that isn't her in tight acid-wash, long bleach blonde razored hair, and wearing a reflective vest and toting a stop/slow paddle, is it? Every work crew seems to have one...must be for 'moral support'.
