I'll work through this with my own account, so it's right in front of me. :)
Sign into your account. Once you sign in, you should arrive at a page which says "Add Pictures." Under this, there should be two blank areas labelled "Picture" and "Description" (don't worry about the "Description."). To the right of the blank box by "Picture," there should be a button that says "Browse." Click on it, and a list of the files on your computer should pop up. At the top of this pop-up, there's a drag-down menu where the default option is probably "Desktop" (at least, that's how it is on mine). From there, you have two options:
1) If "My Documents" is under the default desktop menu, just double-click on "My Documents" and then into "My Pictures."
2) Click on this drag down menu and replace "Desktop" with "My Documents." From there, double-click on "My Pictures."
Once you're into the "My Pictures" file, double-click on the photo you want to upload. The pop-up menu should disappear, and you should be back at the original "Add Pictures" page, with the blank box next to "Picture" filled in with the location of your picture. This being done, click "Submit," and it should work.
