Poll question: Best David Bowie Single (1977-84)
I'm going for Heroes, myself.

There's almost enough singles for a post-84 poll, esp. Absolute Beginners and Jump They Say.

1. I Went With Fashion
For the era, it's the perfect single. Noise guitar, weird synth noises, chant chorus, and clever lyrics.

I prefer some of the other songs on your list, like Ashes or Heroes, but "best" single, i think is Fashion.

I also think TVC15 is a great song, as it Station to Station.

For, post 1984, "I'm Afraid of Americans" with Trent Reznor.

One of my fave singles ever...anyone ever see the movie "Christiane F."? Great use of Bowie music in there...'81 or so
