I've a scottish accent myself (Don't tell Rabrrr, it might turn him on) and I get asked what part of Ireland I'm from quite a lot.

15. Sometimes, I can tell the difference easily...
Sometimes it's more ambiguous...Do you talk really fast and mumble alot? I love it when I can't tell what Scottish people are saying.

16. I've been told I talk really quietly and with a very strong accent
so most people have trouble understanding me until they get used to the way I speak. Usually takes a couple of weeks if I start work in a different job or move to a new area. I've been living in England for twenty years and still haven't lost my accent although my folks say I sound really english!
