I no longer can watch Bill O'Reilly
I used to like O'Reilly but his show has become yet another liberal-bashing hour of trash. Is there a good alternative out there? I've enjoyed "Buchanan and Press" the few times I've watched, and I like "Crossfire."

One funny thing about O'Reilly is that, when a guest mentions the lack of liberal talk radio, O'Reilly always mentions NPR. Of course, that's the only one he can think of. When they have an hour of bluegrass music, is that liberal or conservative?

Where I live, almost every talk-radio station on the AM dial is a right-wing talk-radio station.

It's lonely being a liberal (except here).

5. I was crazy
Actually, his show wasn't always strictly an hour of liberal-bashing. It's just sort of evolved into that, once O'Reilly began his crusade against the ACLU.

8. I don't get it
Why would anyone ever agree to be a guest on his show? They have to know they won't be allowed to argue their points. He just shouts everyone down and cuts them off. If people stopped going on his show his rating would plummet without him having people to shout at.

13. I don't get it either, Andy
guests act like Bill is some sort of respectable media person instead of tabloid trash. His show should be avoided.

10. I liked him until he started bashing charities like the Red Cross
I liked him until he started bashing charities like the Red Cross for not-dispensing contributions for 9/11 families within 6 weeks after they collected it.

It takes time to distribute large amounts of money properly.

One of the problems with the Bush adminsistration is how it hands over millions to Halliburton and Bechtel without proper oversight.

11. NPR mostly reports the news.
NPR mostly reports the news.

I've never heard an NPR reporter rant against a conservative politician or organization like he rants against Hillary Clinton and the ACLU.

12. Tonight he was as usual. smug, condescending, patronizing...he is
putrid and I cannot stand him.
He and his FAUX 'news' cronies spin so rapidly and consistently to the right it seems obvious that they have made themselves dizzy and thus incapable of rational thought.

15. I can't watch him
I've tried a couple of times to watch his show. He always ends up pissing me off so much that I have to change the channel after only a few minutes. I did, however, enjoy that CSPAN program where Al Franken exposed him for the liar that he is. I have that one on tape.

16. NPR is not liberal.
Hasn't been for years. In fact, it's become quite conservative.
