Medicare people - any suggestions on the best prescription
plan for me? It is such a farce, I know...but I need to choose something.

Current Monthly Prescription Costs: $200

I noticed when viewing the "plans" that a lot of the medications where you pay 25% go anywhere from $8 - $60...well, I know now WHY the cutoff is $60 because MOST prescriptions start at $70.

Bastards.

1. Unfortunately it will depend on the specific meds you take
...more than the total cost..

Some plans might have ALL of them, and some might not.. AND after you sign up, THEY can drop any meds at any time, but YOU can only choose a plan once a year:grr:

2. You'll need to plug your meds and other information
into the www.medicare.gov site to figure out which plan is best for you.
I *highly* recommend you print off the list of the cheapest plans for yourself,
and to also print off the restrictions your meds have.
I helped my dad choose his plan, and I could not have done it if I didn't have the hard copy of everything to look over.
