Speaking of soda pop, I have a question and a bit of a rant

Why do most of the sodas in the USA have caffeine in them? I think it's just plain weird, plus a pain in the ass when I'm visiting since I have to check the label practically every time I want a cold fizzy one. I have nothing against caffeine, though I have a lower intake than most, I just don't want it in my soft drinks. In Canada, the only kind of pop that can contain caffeine is anything called a cola, or anything dark brown, though Jolt is getting around it with this Guarana stuff. I just don't see the point of all this caffeine in everything, though I do admit I kind of like dnL.

5. don't know why but it's very frustrating

I've pretty much had to give up on soft drinks. Even the lemon lime drinks may have caffeine. As I have a strong reaction to caffeine, I find it very inconvenient.

6. Sprite, 7up, Sierra Mist are all OK

Those are mostly what I drink when I'm there. I recently grabbed a bottle of. I think, Minute Maid Orange but put it back when I saw caffeine in it. In orange soda? WTF?

It's an environmental waste, the money goes to (usually) conservative causes or to make assholes rich on salary and bonus, and it's shitbad for your teeth and health.

Eschew carbonated sugared drinks!

Stick to water.

And gin, unblended scotch, and cognac.
