1. We had a discussion here a few months ago about Nutella.
I had never heard of it. I went out and got a jar, and my oldest daughter devoured it!! I've been on a diet so I didn't eat much of it, but it sure was tasty!!

2. I became a Nutella fanatic while living over in Germany.
Nutella sandwiches saw me through some rough times in the Army. :-)

3. I OD'd on Nutella when I was 12
And it took me 10 years to get up the nerve to try it again.

So - here's a warning to all you Nutella virgins out there - enjoy it, but DON'T EAT THE WHOLE JAR IN ONE SITTING or you will be sorry!
:)

7. I read somewhere that Cirque du Soleil lives on it.
However, due to the artificial flavoring in it, I won't eat it.

8. mmmmmm
There's a gelato place by my house (in downtown Waukesha, WI of all places) that makes a bacio gelato that tastes just like Nutella.

9. It's great

11. Nutella saved my life.
When my wife was pregnant with our second child she craved Nutella. When she had some she was much less "moody." Even today when she eats it I ask her if she's pregnant. :-)

14. Oh, God... the French make hot crepes with nutella inside
I remember 36 hours in Paris when I damned near od'd on the stuff; you could smell these lucious things blocks away and I was drawn like a voodoo zomby. Once I got home, I (regretfully) found that it could be purchased here. I think I ate nothing but jars of nutella for about three weeks thereafter, until it finally (somewhat) lost its evil hold on me.

BTW, you can find sugar free hazelnut chocolate spread (another company makes it) that is quite similar through low carb websites.... (especially for the girls, who MUST have that chocolate a few days each month)

15. Food of the Gods.
Each country has its own version, and the German one uses palm and coconut oils. It's a killer, but tastier than ours.

Brought back a jar when it was unheard of here. Also brought back some Belgian waffle butter cookies. The two are a deadly combination.

I just set the Nutella and Kuchen on a counter and watched. People tried a taste, and then more, and I was thrown out of the place with my evil goodies. They didn't realize there wasn't enough to kill everyone on the second floor and just wanted me out with my addictive swill. They couldn't stop themselves from eating it.

Maybe I was lucky-- if it just ran out, they would have killed me anyway for not getting more.

Lately, I've discovered the sinful pleasure of Nutella on Trader Joe's Key Lime Cheesecake. My doctor tells me it will kill me, literally, but I can do just one little taste.

Really, I can eat just one.

16. Yup.
The French turned me on to its charms some years ago.

I was disheartened by its use of Kobe Bryant to promote itself, but that's all gone now.
