8. I thought I was the only one!
I find the older I get, the more I like the gray days in the winter - reminds me that it's the season for slowing down and going into semi-hibernation.

9. My hubby and daughter are the same way, and just got an e-mail from
my brother in law who brought up the same thing out of the blue!
Gloomy days in winter are so comforting...and if ya squint through the lace curtains, you can convince yourself it's snowing hee hee!

3. Not a bit up here in Harlem.
Not one iota, not one flake, not one molecule of suspended water in the ice phase at all.

Damn.

10. There was an eighth of an inch of snow on the ground this morning...
Edited on Tue Dec-02-03 12:48 PM by thom1102
barely a dusting, and it took me 1 hr and 45 min to go 20 miles! I left my house at 6:35 this morning to be at work by 7, and I didn't get here until 8:15! Just amazing! My boss looked out the window and says, "Funny, I don't see any signs out there that say 'Charlotte', what's wrong with these people?" We live in CT, for chrissake!

<sigh>

11. Just got out in time
I was in Toronto yesterday and this storm was just on its way.

The snow started just as we got to the airport and had already massacred traffic north of the city.
