Dancing with the Stars: the band stinks!

I've been taking care of my mother lately, and she's completely hooked on that Dancing with the Stars show. While I find watching that show as painful as ritual self-mutilation, the aspect of the show that is clearly the most painful is that @$#%& band. They give elevator music a bad name.

They don't sound as bad when they're mangling big band jazz, but unfortunately, they've spent most of their time doing covers of the worst pop songs of the last few decades.

*shudder*
