This is the last week of regular season play for DU's Fantasy Football league with the top 8 teams heading into the playoffs (yours truly is in the 6th seed, on a 6 game winning streak and I've beaten the #5 & #2 teams already!!).

Good luck this final week and stay tune for exciting playoff information. Can PA Bushknews (Finnfann) defend his 2002 championship victory or will there be another person claiming the crown (like me???).

As long as Priest and Santana keep it real, I like my chances! Although I really wish I had some more depth...some of my positions are just downright embarassing!

Lady Luck smiles on me in Round 1, though; one of my dead weight roster spots (Kevin Barlow) will get the undisputed start this week with Hearst out for at least one game for knee surgery.

Hehehehe! Doesn't matter. I entered the playoffs on a roll last year, only to be defeated by Finnfan's cheaters! :P

(In reality, my team is so sucky, I can't beleive I'm even in the playoffs. I mean, outside of Peyton Manning and Ahman Green, I've got a bunch of stiffs. Thank goodness for Justin McCareins...

I got a REALLY favorable schedule this season. I think I only went up against 3 teams currently in the playoffs (and beat one - hehe I caught Lynne when McNabb sucked!). I play Paragon's team this week, and I should lose if form follows. It stands to reason that I am going to get smoked like a cheap cigar in the playoffs. :P

And you would have lost to me if you were playing me in this part of the season!

You are right on both counts.

I'm also in the playoffs in my ESPN league. We had two divisions of 5 teams each. I finished 1/2 game back of the winner of my division. If only I hadn't LOST this past week. Argh! Anyway, the playoffs start this week in that league. I stand a better chance there - I have much better players and depth.

Despite having the seventh-highest points total in the League, I'm in 10th place with a 6-6 record. Rats. Mind you, I was 2-5 at one point, so if I finish 7-6 I guess that's not bad.

Interesting factoid: my quarterback is Daunte Culpepper, and with only three exceptions (weeks 3, 7 and 8) my team has only won when the Vikings have lost, and vice versa. Very odd.

When the Eagles were sucking it up the beginning of the season - I sucked too (geez, I was getting negative points from McNabb). But now I'm on a 6 game winning streak (Eagles are on a 7game one). I'm feeling very confidant going into the playoffs.

My team flows in the opposite direction to the Vikings - we only win when the Vikings lose, and vice versa :)

And yes, I did beat you - that was my only success in the first six weeks of play!
