That's me, after 30 years of "job success." Good luck, take a deep breath, and prepare for the worst. I believe the upswing in the economy recently is a mirage; the structural problems, and the Bush policies, are intractable - as many of them are intended to be. Don't make light of this.

12. Im getting unemployment...

but I didnt get fired. Im a temp and my temp to perm assignment (at a dot com) never was made permanent because they were being sold in pieces. I was moved to a new place because it was going to be permanent, but they hired for my position BEFORE I got there. So I've workd 2 days in the last 2 1/2 weeks.

I moved to NYC, my prospects were so bad were I used to be!! Of course, I still have 14 weeks left of Unemployment insurance, thank goodness for that!
