2. The Frog Brigade is playing in San Francisco this month.

They are also playing Jam Cruise II in January. I didn't see any shows other than those. You can keep up with shows by going to www.relix.com.

I'm a big Les Claypool fan too. I just purchased "Purple Onion" a few weeks ago. As usual with LC, it is awesome.

A lot of the band members from The Frog Brigade are doing other projects right now, I doubt you see them together much for the near-term future.

4. Oh God let it be soon...
I saw Primus right when "Pork Soda" came out at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley. I've been to many concerts but that competes for the all-time best. It was the tightest show I've ever seen - they play as well live as they sound on CD. In fact at one point they played a song, I think it was "Nature Boy," and I started to think they were faking it.

Then Claypool says, "OK you're in luck, we're filming the live video for this and you're all gonna be in it...but we have to lip sync it so don't get pissed off. What the hell anyway, (insert a long profane rant about MTV never playing their videos), but let's go..." So they played the song over the speakers and they aped the song. After hearing them back-to-back, live and recorded versions, there wasn't any doubt they weren't faking anything else that night.

Before they got a little fame they used to play the quad at Diablo Valley College (DVC)...I went there but it was after that time...damn!

5. That's pretty cool!
He's such an incredible musician.

(I'm in the Queensryche Operation MindCrime live concert video! - probably you'd never see me, and I've never watched it to see if I can see me, but I was there - Dane County Coliseum, on the Queensryche tour of the album they did after operation mindcrime which I can't remember the name of now).

8. LC, Stewart Copeland and Trey Anastasio.

They are amazing. I saw those guys at the Saenger in New Orleans in 2000 or 2001 (fuzzy memory). It was their first live show ever. Tight is an understatement.

Sorry, I couldn't stand Primus, and I couldn't stand Claypool either.
