Speaking of the "un-electable"....

The Larouche people are doing their petition drive on campus.
Can a convicted Felon run for president of the United States? I know Dumbya sets the precedence for UN-convicted Felons, but what about the stupid ones who got caught?

He can vote for himself in Indiana, since he's out of jail...

1. yes, convicted felons can run....

the constitution only requires that you be 35 years old, a natural-born citizen, and a resident of the US for 14 years. Those are the only requirements allowed.

6. You are right--that's why Jeb helped Dumbo steal Fl in 2000

FL says no to convicted felons voting, however, say you were convicted in CT, and then moved to FL--you should be able to vote because CT does not disallow convicted fleons from voting, and therefore other states must honor this. Of course, Jeb's cohorts kept plenty such people from voting--I don't think they ever got them to change and we will probably see a repeat in 2004.

7. That is right. Some states re-patriate ex-cons when their time is

up totally. NY for instance. You may get sentanced to 2.5-20 years, do 3, get parolled and stay out of trouble.
In 20 years, you can legally vote again.
Of course, no one ever checks to see if you are legal... especailly not in a state the size of NY.
