I was gonna give up celebacy, but instead I've decied to give up Lent.

2. Hmmm.... many things come to mind.

I could give up on the USA - nope, too expensive.
I could give up on Republicans, oh I think I already done that one.
I could give up on sex (my wife says that I'm practically disinterested anyway)
I could give up McDonalds (well my ateries would thank me for it but my stomach won't)
I could give up life (tried that, it sucks)
I could give up chocolate (then I wouldn't have an alternative to sex)

In which case - I am stuck.

Any suggestions?

I am not a practicing Catholic even though that's what I was raised.
I feel that if I did give up something, I would be a hypocrite, since I don't go to church or anything.

8. I actually do observe Lent

and I plan to give up beef.

If I was really pious I'd give up cola (something I enjoy far more than a burger or steak), but I don't think I can do it so I don't want to make that promise.
