3. I'm thinking she went to Mobile Mardi Gras
actually older than the real thing, but that's not why...

...they throw Moon Pies from the floats along with the trinkets!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mardi_Gras#Mobile

Mobile
Mobile, Alabama has a long tradition of observing Mardi Gras, with one of the largest celebrations in the United States. Celebration of Mardi Gras in Mobile dates back to 1703. Celebrations were halted with the American Civil War, but were revived with a parade by Joe Cain in 1866, whose memory is still honored each Carnival. The Mobile Mardi Gras season is always concluded by the Order of Myths parade, produced by the society of the same name. This is a special honor, because the 'double-O M's' are the oldest continuously parading Mardi Gras society in America. Throughout each parade, mystic maskers throw trinkets, beads, candy, coins and Moon Pies, a sweet baked good that combines a graham cracker like crust with marshmallow and is then covered in a flavored frosting.

6. Miss her a lot
She emailed me a while back and said that after her stint as mod, she wouldn't be posting as much. Real life was gonna have to take precedence over virtual life. But lately she's been MIA, damn it.

Hey, Darlin', come back!

Khash.
