It's a delicacy in Holland. She wouldn't ever tell me what it was, which was always the tip off for me. "Just eat it! It's meat! It's good!" Yeah....right. x(

I found out later it was beef tongue...which I've had since, didn't much care for, but probably would have tried anyway if told what it was, since I was an omnivore from an early age.
