Were you a criminal in your teen years?
That teenager post reminded me of some capers. I was never apart of them I was always straight and narrow when it came to serious crime. But one time my buddies robbed a candy truck.....I mean TWO pick-up truck loads full of candy.

My buddy called me up and said, "Hey come up here I got something for you." So I went up, he gave me a brick of sweet tarts. Then took me into the crawl space to show me the stash...it was amazing.

Little stoners finished most of it too...it took em a while though.

Edited on Tue Dec-02-03 09:40 PM by Demobrat
If you consider rolling drunks criminal behavior, and I think most would. Other than that, just dealing drugs.

Edit: Oh yeah, and shoplifting.
Edit again: And then there was that auto theft...and the breakin to the pharmacy...

10. The absolutely unsuspected type, but yeah.
I was a graffiti fiend....

Liberal/anti-dominant paradigm slogans all over my sleepy little one horse Mormon town. (This town is famous for being the national printing press for anti-abortion crap.)

I hit everything, with paint, with side walk chalk, with mud.... if I could use it to write, I would.

"Take Back Freedom of Religion"

"Mormons oppress women"

"Think for yourself"

And probably a hundred more slogans.

BUT...

I was a good student, (Valedictorian) pretty, smart, quiet, involved with school activities (drama, orchestra, band, forensics, Academic Decathalon, swim), and looked innocent.

Never even suspected. (And all of my friends had cast iron alibis, who would have been suspected since they were "difficult" and didn't toe the church party line.)

It's a bitch being one of 10 non-Mormon girls in a town of 6K..... never dating may have made me a little nuts.

19. Bombmaking...
we built high heat bombs which we would place on railroad flatcars that contained new automobiles. Three of them would destroy 18 brand new cars (we totaled 200-225 destructions) We were depraved little pyros until one of our friends blew himself up (and took out half of his family's house) one afternoon.

14. Never any big crimes
but my two best friends and I were pretty big pranksters. Our town has a police log in the local paper and we made it in for unsolved crimes for 6 weeks in a row once. Our favorit was to steal all the lawn furniture from one house and switch it with a different persons set on the other side of town.

41. We did things like that!! They were so much fun!!!
We forked the homecoming queen's lawn, put bed sheet hanging "ghosts" in a notorious racist's trees, made a big sign that read "Condoms!" and hung it on the water tower....

I'm stunned that we never got caught, never got hurt and no one figured it out.....

Edited on Tue Dec-02-03 09:41 PM by Booberdawg
I got a ride to the police station for my parents to pick me up, but the store didn't press charges.

That cured me of doing any more shoplifting.

on edit: why can't I see your pic? Did you do something different?

18. Couldn't help myself
MIP
Marijuana
Dumping Toxic waste in a public area
Statutory rape
Identity theft
Credit card fraud
Shop lifting
Vandalism
Stealing those wet floor signs from almost every fast food place in the city

That was just HS.

I was going to get into Arson and other organized criminal activity in college but never got around to it because of the GF.

For now I have changed my ways, unless I need to lead a revolution.

I always stayed clear of it in high school. But I had to learn to keep my mouth shut, I've got a mind that naturally thinks of good crimes...sometimes I would pop something off not thinking about ,.....next thing I knew my buddies where stealing surveing equipment and breaking into energy monitoring stations.

24. Shit, you're probably one of my victims.
We used to go up to Abbotsford, Vancouver, et. al. to raise our hell.

My buddy had this enormous flatbed pickup that he had absolutely no business driving. On more than one occasion we'd be backing out of a parking lot he'd hit the adjacent car, instead of doing anything intelligent he'd just panic and drive OVER the rest of the car. We always made up back over the border somehow.

28. Some friends and I
were pretty bad about stealing stuff. stole a couple of benches from a store and left 5 gallon buckets in their place. :) Stole beer from a grocery store threw a rock through a window at the local Republican headquarters (I'm still a little proud of that one ) lots of other stuff too. We smoked a lot of pot, and vandalized our high-school by putting stickers of our band all over the school and on the teacher's cars.

I look back on those days and think about how stupid we were. I suppose most of it was just youthful juvenile shit, but if I ever had a kid that did some of the stuff I did. I'd probably kill it :)

30. I should be in prison right now.
When you consider what I pulled twenty years ago.

I worked in a grocery store. Strange things kept getting dumped into the 8-O'Clock coffee grinder. By things I mean: cayenne pepper, alum, fennel seed, salt, lint, whatever. Man, any bag of coffee to pass through the grinder after I did my thing had to be nasty.

31. small time drugs dealer in college
I really believed that LSD would change the world one mind at a time.... it was sorta a religious thing for the short period i did it... maybe 9 months. Get 500 hits at 2 dollars a hit, and depening on volume market them at 3.50 - 5 dollars a hit with no single-unit business... it just made me spending money at college.

I got towards cannabis, but only moved about a pound... the stuff stinks a lot when in dealing quantities, and i hated the procedure of distrust where people doubted whether it was an ounce and needed to reweigh with their own scales... hell, i was using a chemistry lab scale... Acid, was comparatively very clean to hawk.

Outside that, geez minor shoplifting.. like a package of zingers.. and of course speeding.

there... i'm a criminal. :-)

33. A teacher in my high-school left a set of keys hanging from a door-lock...
...so I took them and sold them to some hoodlums, who used them to B&E the school, eat everything in the cafeteria, etc. Of course, they eventually got caught and the keys were traced back to me. Got a two week suspension, and the vice principal called the cops on me, but they told here there weren't any charges they could lay, as I was pretty steadfast in saying I found the keys, not stole them.

After she couldn't get me arrested, I got very brave with her, and even went as far as standing up during an assembly and asking her, in front of the student body and faculty, how long she had been a woman, and if she prefered it to being a man.

It was another two week holiday, but soooo worth it!

We did a couple of dine and dash things, but that was it. One of my friends got caught dashing, and was beaten senseless by a line cook.

criminal inclinations still there....illicit drugs and political pranks were about it though and still is my limit unless of course any of about 10 political/business figures ever step out in front my car....then again maybe I'll just claim it was a diabetic episode that caused me to speed up, reverse, go back again etc
