Stupidest Advice Ever

So I eat healthy, take care of myself, get plenty of rest - right? I have had one minor cold in the last five years. Outside of that, I have been 100% healthy.

An acquaintance of mine, who is a walking pharmaceutical repository and ill all the time asked me if I had been to the doctor recently. "No," I replied. "I'm never sick and I feel great." She was appalled at my response. "Don't you realize that a doctor could supply you with valuable life saving medication you could be taking every day or the rest of your life?"

What's the stupidest advice you've ever received?

1. Wow.

Just, wow. I don't even know what to say to that.

I don't think I've received any advice that comes close to that. "You should come over, we'll just have a couple beers and hang out" comes close, though :)
