One or two at 20 to 30 below. Very little snow (had to reroute the Yukon Quest; the Iditarod is being rerouted; the Iron Dog snowmachine race that follows the Iditarod route ran into OPEN WATER on Norton Sound in February).

Winter? We haven't had a winter in years. Shit, Fairbanks is losing its bragging rights. We had a "very" cold January - stayed below normal all month - but the rest of the winter, since October, has been NOTHING.

Where in WA state? I love the Bellingham area, and Mt. Hood. Some great motorcycle rides in that area, including Chuckanut Drive (not to mention awesome oysters!).
