3. TV Land must be having tons of tributes.
We lost Don Knotts, Dennis "McCloud" Weaver, Darrin "Kolchak" McGavin, and now Jack Wild.

And I thought famous deaths came in 3's

17. Just for Don Knotts ...
when Eddie Albert and Al Lewis died, they did a 2 hour "tribute", basically 4 back to back episodes of their shows. No mention of Dennis or Darrin.

For Don Knotts, they're doing a 48 hour marathon this weekend. Why their obsession with The Andy Griffith Show is beyond me.

2. Whoever thought Witchiepoo would outlive the kid?
The last I heard, Billie Hayes was still alive.

5. Hmmm... a friend's daughter will be crushed.
A friend of mine has a young daugher (4) who developed a huge crush on Jack as the Artful Dodger, to the point where she wanted to have a Jack Wild themed birthday party with his picture printed on the cake. Her mom had a crush on Jack too, back in the day. Cheerio, Jack.

6. Damn! That Smoking Is Really Bad For Ya...
He had his tongue AND voice-box removed? OMG... how HORRIBLE!

It's sad to see an icon of my childhood pass away. He was definitely a cutie back in the day!

"Oranges, poranges. Who cares?"

Please, people, don't smoke. And if you smoke AND drink, quit one or the other or both IMMEDIATELY.
