Well, our contract isn't being renewed, but
there is a concerted attempt to keep us funded on a temporary basis until new proposals can go out. So I'm still twisting in the wind. I'm going from day to day here now. I hate this limboland stuff.

1. Good luck with that

I know exactly how you feel... family, financial obligations weigh heavy.

I was out of work for four months last year and now I have the best job ever... more money, more fun, better people...

Sometimes one door closes in order that we may see another open.

The Guest-House

This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.

A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.

Welcome and entertain the all!
Even if they're a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture.

Still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice -
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.

Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

2. man that suck...i hate being on contract like that
I did it for a while, then there was a management shift, and without even telling me, they came and moved everything out of my desk to my new office. I walked out that day.
