(Just don't look at the absence of bangs...she cut them herself!)

1. so, she thinks
she's still 5, or somebody shorted her on her present? She should be holding a Hamilton there.
Very cute, but, the red eyes are kinda creepy :scared:
A digital camera should have the "no red eye" flash option, or software which will eliminate it upon editing.

2. Hey, great grandpa is on a budget
My MIL's mother sent her a whole buck. She was just as thrilled.

Yeah, I've got to figure out that red eye thing...my software is quite confusing. I just transferred the pics from the camera to the PC tonight, not a lot of tinker time.

8. The money was burning a hole in her pocket
She just HAD to spend it. So, she went for Hello Kitty Bubble Bath that smells extremely fruity and drives the cats nuts!

6. Well, she'd have to take back the Hello Kitty Bubble Bath
and the pink and purple hair doodads first!

13. It's VERY important to her
I don't know how, but I (the tomboy from hell), gave birth to a walking Barbie. No, dear, your mother CANNOT french braid your hair...but I can show you how to throw a ball hard and with great accuracy!

17. If you can teach her to hit, too
it could pay for her college.

You must impress this upon her.

19. LOL...Unfortunately, she has no desire to hit or throw
She prefers to draw, paint, and make things, and is quite the talented artist. I can't draw stick figures, so she got that from her dad. Now, my son on the other hand has learned well, just doesn't want to play organized ball...go figure.

22. I can understand that
In junior high and high school, I played basketball in my freakin' sleep. But I didn't want to go out for the school teams. I was just a rebel that way.

However, he wasn't fitting well with the new team his second year, and quit. Then, he joined the choir at school. Works for me!

14. Oh, she's too cute. I remember when I used to get excited over 5 bucks!
Now, when I look in my wallet and see only five bucks, I have pretty much the opposite expression on my face as your daughter.

That's a really sweet pic.

Edited on Fri Mar-03-06 02:23 AM by GloriaSmith
She must be having a great b-day! Who does she get those incredible cheek bones from?

on edit: I hope you don't mind, but I fixed a little of the camera red eye issue...

16. Yeah, I've GOT to figure out how to fix that
She had a great party, complete with a Hello Kitty (of course!) cake. As for the cheekbones, hard for me to say. I have high cheekbones, the Cherokee in me, but I think she looks like my mother in law more than she looks like me. People who've never seen my MIL say they see me in her.
