Who likes Babka?
Edited on Sun Jul-27-03 09:30 PM by The Lone Liberal

Where does one purchase the best Babka? I found a place on-line. http://www.ebabka.com/bakerywebstore.html

Anyone ever purchased Babka on-line. Ah to be stranded in the wilderness where I must seek Babka over the net, what a shame, what a shame.

4. Coffee cake.
Essentially, it has the flavor and texture of coffee cake. Chocolate babka is popular.

3. I see I shall have to ask the obvious
What then, is a 'bibbi babka' of Perfect Strangers fame?

A small one with custard in?

5. how about finding Babkas in Philly or NYC...
where is the best place to buy one?

I just moved to Bucks Co which is 40 min to Philly and 1 hour to NYC. I can't find a good babka.... tried a Polish neighborhood... but that one didn't turn out good. Jewish bakeries???? I think Babka crosses boundaries.

7. Babka worth travelling for?
I've never had babka that good. In my opinion, babka is okay, but that's about it.
