Ever had one of those days?

I woke up this morning and my dog was having an epileptic fit (his breed is prone to them and this is only his second--he had the first about six months ago). We took him into the vet the first time, since we weren't sure what had happened. Now we know and I just cuddled him and let him go through it until it passed. If they only come every six months, it's not advisable to put him on the meds, since they're hard on the liver and it can drastically reduce his lifespan.

To top it off, there's a whole bunch of conflict going on at my Dad's house between him, his girlfriend, and my step-niece, who lives with them. It's turning into a raging mess and I really wish my wife and I hadn't been called into the middle of it today, though another part of me was glad we were there.

It's been a weird couple of weeks. The last couple days I've been doing graphics work for my website, as well as working on the second "season" of my upcoming serial (a fantasy romance, believe it or not). I totally updated my website, using graphics I designed myself. I'm pretty proud of it, actually.

I definitely take into consideration a basic fact. It could always be worse.

I'm just glad DU is here for a place to vent.

Tomorrow will be a better day!

Days like that? Hell, I've had decades like that. Good news is, nothing reamains the same so things WILL get better.

I've had one of those days too...........I have almost murdered a friend's husband at least twice this week. I'm not usually so bloodthirsty, but he's being absolutely useless, and has beend for several months........He can't possibly be that good in bed.

Well, you never know, I suppose.
